Hammerhead Barrel Fins are designed to match the paintball size to the barrel. The type of ball, temperature, humidity and manufacturers tolerances can all have an affect on a paintball size for any given day. To optimize your barrel performance and velocity consistency, it makes sense to have the right sized fin for the paintball that you will be using that day. Hammerhead Fins are 2 in length which is an optimal length based on the amount of air pressure that occurs during the first two inches of a paintball being shot out of a paintball marker.
